  1. No, only how many photos and videos you can put on it before you fill it.

The size of your video is determined by you when you set it up in your cameras menu.

  2. Nope, the card is storage space.

But the good news is, you can easily reduce the size of your picture.  Your digital camera came with an application that will do this, most likely.  But if it didn't or you don't have it, there's a link to more free image resizing tools in the source.

Be sure to make a backup of the original file, though.

The Microsoft Office Picture Manager can resize photos for you.  I'm not sure which versions of Office it comes with.  Look in Start - Programs - Microsoft Office - Office Tools.

  3. To reduce the size of the picture, change the pixels to a lower number.  I use 3 mega pixel for most everything because it is faster and takes up less space.  This setting still provides great detail.  If this is still too much, go one number lower.

The source link will help you learn to clean the camera and battery contacts on any camera you buy. Digital Cameras require lots of power. If the contacts are not really good, there will be lots of problems even if the batteries are fully charged.
