  1. Yup.  It's called hormones.  LOTS of hormones.  We'll get angry one minute, say something funny the next and cry at dumb commercials on TV.  Usually after the baby comes it'll be easier and she'll calm down.  You're sensitive because you're going to have a change in your life too!  There have been studies and men actually get some hormonal changes in reaction to his wife's actions.  Just remember that once or twice a week try to do something super nice for her like cook dinner, some laundry, maybe a nice bath for her.  She'll not expect it and it will be a nice surprise.  Since it's your first, talk about pregnancy with her often.  WE LOVE to talk about it!!!!  lol  Maybe buy her a baby name book and suggest you two go out together to the park and sit on a bench and pick out some names???  You can also buy journals that she can keep her feelings in to give to the baby when they grow up and some of them give facts of what the baby does on that day and how far development goes.  Congratulations!!!

  2. Yes alot of men get what they call sympathy symptoms when there wife is pregnant... that means that you are just so in tuned with your wife that you feel things that she feels... Cute! My husband got morning sickness. So far it sounds like you are doing a good job good luck!

  3. Having a kid is a very emotional time. Sorry, you have 26 more weeks of it. Not to mention after the kid actually gets here. My husband cried at the ultrasound, I don't think it was "real" to him until he actually saw our son. Then he cried like a baby when he was born. I think it was the fact that I was in so much pain and we both felt so helpless in the situation. It's really odd, it's times like that where you know you are at the mercy of God.

  4. yes. theyw ill probably be emotional after tyhe baby too. but probably only for a month

  5. Awww... sounds like you're getting "sympathy symptoms". It actually happens to a lot of men, believe it or not. It didn't happen to my husband, but I know of other men it has happened to. Two of them even gained weight with their wives! Although this kind of thing will go away once the baby is born, you will gain a whole new kind of emotions along the way because of being a new father!

    Good luck and congratulations!
