Do men really care about hair color?

I have pale skin and my hair is naturally dark brown, but I've been dying it for years. I get more compliments on my hair when it's lighter (not too light, like a light brown) but it looks healthier when it's darker. Do guys really notice this stuff and is it important? Are they mostly into blondes or light brunettes, or do they like dark haired girls too?

yea every guy really does prefure different things

like for me, a girl can have blond hair with any color highlights

but if its all blond and nothing else, i CANT stand it

its not her, just the hair color bothers me

its just really weird, i cant explain it
