  1. Some men still believe that, but not any that I would have any respect for.

I think that it's better for couples to discuss before making a major decision that would affect them both, but that's way different from asking for PERMISSION.

  2. Not me I just go and get a job. she's not the boss of me.

  3. a women doesnt have to ask for permission. but communication is key to a successful relationship.

  4. I am considered white (however my grandparents were all from specific backgrounds; German, Japenese/French, Irish, and Portugese) Japanese and Portugese are not white but they will say I am white.  I live in America and no I don't have to ask permission to do anything.  Out of respect I will talk with my husband and so you know he prefers that I work.

  5. Sorry, your question made me laugh.  As if!!!

Staying home with the kids is a choice and a discussion between a woman and her husband.  Working is not.

  6. I'm sure some men do.... that's the thing about "men".  It's a pretty broad catagory with many diverse members.

  7. I don't know why on earth any woman would want to have a job outside the house, when staying at home is so much nicer, but I doubt many men would object to their wives working.  Most men are quite happy for their wives to be out making money, and also of course doing all the domestic work as well.  Why wouldn't they be happy with that?

  8. I don't know any men that believe that.

  9. I'm sure some do, but with 3 billion on the planet, i'd say the are in the minority by far.

Your husband can't stop you from working, however in a relationship its crucial to actually discuss stuff like that before going forward.

So technically you can just go out and get a job and whatever, but in reality it would be a discussion between the 2 people.

  10. not here!! (uk) there'd be riots in the streets :-)

  11. No, some men do, as some men still believe that the earth is flat, and some men believe they are Napoleon, but men as a whole don't believe in that.

  12. It is funny for a woman to ask permission from her man to work,if there is no hindrance for her on getting a job. I am an Asian......

  13. No,

Kind of a big decision to make without communicating the issue though.  I would be pretty shocked if it happened without me knowing about it.  I wouldn't care that she got a job, in fact I would encourage her to work if she wanted to, but to just do it without discussing it with me is kind of rude.
