Do men still exploit women? ?

After the civil rights movement, the two minority groups that benefited mostly from affirmative action where African-Americans and Women. And a LOT of walls have been knocked down since by everyone. So are women still exploited, or are they freely participating in the mess we call society? Do women exploit themselves (positively or negatively)?

No, women are afforded the same opportunities as men.  In some cases, they are afforded greater opportunity.

To Nytelotus:  All of those things are correlations.  When you can come to me with any hard evidence that those things are the result of discrimination and not the result of the thousands of other variables which could cause them, then they are evidence of exploitation.  Until then, they are just facts which can be used to argue any point.  For instance, I could use all the same examples you just listed and say that they are all because women get pregnant.  You would argue against me, but it would be very hard to PROVE that wasn't the case.  BTW I believe that is part of the reason, but not nearly the only reason.

Since at least half of all adults are women you will know when women are no longer being exploited because women will constitute around half of all Congress, judges, Presidents of countries and corporations, millionaires etc. And there won't be 'womens' work' and 'mens' work' unless both pay equally well and have equal status and respect.
