  1. Certainly some do.

    Heat magnesium powder with silicon dioxide and magnesium silicide is formed (add water and a mixture of silanes is released which are spontaneously inflammable ... lots of crackling and popping and sparks: my students used to love to do this experiment!!)

    And there are a number of metallic arsenides, too.
