Do military veterans get free will-planning advice?

Nothing fancy, just an simple, official document that states what I would like to happen to my assets, as well as what I would like to happen if I should ever be in some accident which would render me a vegetable. Are there any services like this?

  1. go see a jag office they will do it free there should be one by your state capital where the Guard HQ is


  2. If you belong to the DAV they have a discount program:

    The DAV has started our own nationwide network of attorneys who have agreed to give reduced-fee services to our members. These lawyers will prepare simple wills for $100 and health care and financial powers of attorney for $35 each. Other legal services are provided at 10% off the lawyer's prevailing rate.


  3. Active Duty, Reservists, National Guard and Retirees can get a will prepared thought their local Post Legal Office by Military Lawyers.

  4. yeap.  JAG office.

    oh wait, misread.. Veterans may not use JAG.  sorry.  try the American Legion, VA or VFW.
