  1. First of all which minorities?

From what I understand most Hispanics/Latinos are not into Obama much. Jews are not into Obama much. The first two groups of minorities were for HIllary. The g*y community was more for Hillary, I believe, but I think most of them are for Obama now.  So far as women/feminist, which is yet another group of what is consider a minority in America, they are split and their votes are going everywhere. I have no idea what the polls say about Asians.   Or was this question meant to say does he have the balck vote sowed up?

Honestly, questions like these irk my nerves. For one, they play into the many generalizations of this Nation, where things can easily be grouped and classified by superficial characteristics. I guess I wouldn't be so irked if hasn't been asked a million different ways in this same forum almost every day. Secondly, I would be less irked if it was more specific to which minority votes you were wondering about. Third, there are so many variables in this Election that far out weigh racial preference.

I hope that we can all get pass these trivial distractions and get to the meat of this election. To me this continuosly puts up the walls of those afraid of a person of a race outside of their own possibly running this country.

I am not saying this to offend you. I am multi-racial myself and all my life I have been asked these type of questions and/or have had to deal with the narrow minded thinking of those they  try to box me in to one race or another.  I wish you well and hope you recieved the insight you were hoping to find and you may want to do a search on the other questions that have been answered already on this same topic.

    Be Well

  2. Good question it might get deleted.

  3. well thats an interesting mix of things to be....   yeah of course minorities like obama, mccain is an old rich white dude who has NO interests for minorities or lower income families. he is just there to protect the wealthy, and trick lower income families into signing up for war with the promise of money... he doesnt care...

obama is for minorities....   he actually knows what its like...

  4. How would anyone be able to speak for an entire group of people?

  5. They just want to see a black president, and Obama is using to become the first black president.

    McCain2008

  6. I like Obama (and am a Minority) but my reason is NOT* because of his race.

    Imagine this:

Tomorrow, you are in a terrible car accident, you are found to be "at fault" the other driver and his family "died." (A part of you died, knowing that it was your fault, their dead)

The member's family announces a major Law Suit against you!

It would behoove you to find a very good attorney (one that you can afford) without jeopardizing your finances.

What your going to need (your in a real pickle)

    - A "professional attorney" who has allot of "wins under his belt" COLOR***WILL NOT MATTER AT THIS POINT!

    - One whom has built great alliances, hopefully with the other party's attorney and or judge/officials

    - A very good speaker (convincing the whole court of your innocence)

    -A strategist type personality (shark)

    - You got the idea!

The USA is in a baddd situation right now, we need someone who can sit at a table intelligently and build alliances, to look at the national budget (Obama stated) "line by line" no other person has ever stated that.

"Line by Line" suggesting to pull government monies that go into money pits, with no positive end result that help us.

His determination is unsurpassed by anyone else! "Line by Line"

Don't we deserve this type of representation?

Don't we deserve someone to go thru everything with a fine tooth comb to find solutions to our shortages?

Certain people are gifted with an ability to "go thru like a tornado looking for in-proprieties or inconsistencies, Obama is one of them.

  7. I am a mutt too! lol Black ,Filipino ,and, Hispanic.... But any who I am for Obama but yeah minorities and others are for Obama and vise versa with McCain! It really does not matter about race to me!

    OBAMA / BIDEN 08

  8. Muslims love him.

  9. Everyone in my family loves him.

  10. Race is irrelevant

    Everyone is equal

    thats what Barack Obama feels

  11. I don't think so, it's just we can relate to him better than Same old McCain.

  12.    well mutt, its a sad time when the president of these united states is picked by his origin.its not the president of the p.t.a.were talking about.i also think your discription of minority is off.minority means least of.obama is a minority.thats news to me.another error is you say he is black.another mistake on your part.he is white and black.god help us with the likes of you voteing.you are like a kid picking out a baloone.oh mommy i like that colour.lets get it.and the white house is not closed to,as you call them.minoritys.oh god help us.

  13. yes I ike obama because of what he stands for, not because he's black. Hillary was my first choice!

  14. yes,, it will. but you know what theres nothing wrong with that.

if thats the ONLY reason someone is voting for him then maybe something is wrong with that..

    why not some change?

    from the old white republicans,

sorry if i sound racist, but how can mccain relate to minority voters..

    or middle class in general?

  15. As a minority myself (for I belong to the Higher IQ portion of the population), I love Obama. One thing about him has remained unquestioned in this election: his intelligence. After 8 years of George W Bush, ... (you know it!)

  16. I don't know why anyone likes Obama.  Take away the speeches and what's left?

  17. Does a bear sh it in the woods?

  18. do minorities like clarence thomas or alan keyes (both black)???

NO, because it's not just about "race"!

Everyone needs to focus on the ISSUES! Vote on the issues that matter and will effect change in your life. Healthcare, bringing an end to the war in Iraq, finally getting Bin Laden, fixing this damaged economy, etc, etc. Focusing on wedge/divisive issues is a distraction from the REAL issues to get a Bush 3rd term (McCain-Bush). Don't vote against your economic interests!!

    Obama 08!

  19. both what he stands for and hes black! We never had a black president and we want one with good intentions!

  20. There are many members of the Black community (I assume that's who you mean when you say "minority") who will NOT be voting for Barack Obama because they do not agree with his POLITICAL AGENDA.  Affirmative Action has already opened many doors for Black people in the US.  (before you dismiss me...I'm biracial, white mother/black father).  Oh, wow, like Barack Obama!

  21. I judge a person on what I believe to be their character, not by the color of their skin. I also have a knack for reading facial expressions, and body gestures. Obama has a strong moral character, as proved by the length of his marriage and his devotion to his daughters. His eyes, tell me of his sincerity and his smile, while sometimes slow in forthcoming, shows he is has humor, and is an honest man.

  22. I think alot of minorities like Obama because he is very intelligent and competent. He is everything that minorities in our country want their children to grow up and emulate. His blackness or him being a minority cannot stand alone. He is a very honest spirited human being who seems to have a cocern for all Americans and not just minorities. I do think blacks and minorities will reflect on their lives and know that if you work hard and gain knowledge, then you can be anything you want in life. Its a good message to send. People cant always use the race card, although racism is still alive. Life is never going to be fair, but that doesnt give anyone an excuse to be a failure. toughen up and grab your boot straps and make your way in life.

  23. This Hurricane about to hit New Orleans may give you a hint at why we hate Bush and won't vote for anyone that agrees with him, their skin could be purple.
