  1. You can take whoever you can legally drive with. If your state says permit drivers can only drive if someone 21 or over is with you, then that is the rule.  In many states, 18 or over with a valid license is allowed.

  2. I think the person has to be your parent. Then they have to have their licence.

  3. NO anyone can take you the vehicle must be in street legal operating condition including insurance brake lights head lights blinkers.... THEY WILL CHECK

  4. Call the DMV to see what they have to say.

  5. I just took my test 3 months ago and yes there must be a valid licenced driver over the age of 21 and also they must have their licence on them or they will not allow you to even take the test. Also make sure you have the cars insurance and registration cards because without them you will also not be able to even take the test. Make sure you bring your permit paper with you. Good luck!!!!!!

  6. Your parents have to take you.  In NY they have to sign their permission for you to get a license.  If you go without your parents, you cannot take the test.

  7. just some one with a licence... you have to supply your own car and if you dont have your licence how could you explain getting there haha ...good luck

  8. someone who has a license and is insured to drive the car needs to accompany the minor or he could get a ticket on the spot for driving without a license (since he obviously drove the car to the road test)

  9. yeah i think so or maybe it's 18

  10. You can walk by yourself to the DMV for all they care. It doesn't matter who drops you off, or how you get there. You can call a cab, take a bus, have your friend bring you, have your grandma bring you.

You only have to have a car to take the test in, and the car has to have proof of insurance. Thats it.

  11. I believe the person that goes with you must be either over 21 or over 25...but it all depends on the state.

  12. In Illinois, you must have an adult, but they can not go on the drive with you. I would imagine that it is similar in most places. Check in your "Rules of the Road" book or whatever the state gives you when you started class, that should say.
