  1. I am mixed so I say yes!

  2. not necessarily

my mom is White and my dad is Black and Hawaiian

and i have terrible (nappy) hair and ppl swear that im Mexican, but im like six one so yea

  3. Everyone is mixed (something from both parents mixing together) and you get the genes you get - some for the better, some for worse.

    That's what makes us human!

  4. Gregor Mendel's "principle of segregation" says that genes (alleles) occur in pairs so during gamete (s*x cell) production the members of each gene pair separate so that each gamete contains one member of each pair. During fertilization the full number of chromosomes is restored and the members of gene or allele pairs are reunited.

because each individual has two pairs of alleles the offspring can receive either from the parent and the gene code for different traits assort independently of each other during gamete formation

so the answer is "no" not necessarily

    a persons genotype

  5. Yes, that's why Mexicans are the Master Cosmic Race

  6. 1. What the "best genes" of an ethnic group are is controversial and open to a lot of debate. There are many physical traits of an ethnic group but social traits may be learned by surroundings regardless of ethnicity at birth. It gets really dicey when you try to determine intermediary traits like intelligence based on ethnicity.

    2. No. Not automatically. It is entirely dependent on the genes of their two parents who cannot magically tap into a collection of the genes of an entire ethnic group when they conceive a child. If the parents are short or tall, slim or fat, light or dark, etc. the child will most likely be the same.

  7. Mixed people are the ethnic groups.  Race is not ethnic.

  8. I wonder if you're not comparing apples and oranges. Genes are genes. Culture is learned, what we share.

  9. This is more of a  biological question.

    The anser is yes.

It's the opposite of inbreeding. The off-spring produced is better than both parents. Whether they be plants or organisms such as mammals.

It's the whole point of s*x.

    Inbreeding is backwards.

Today, for branched off sub-groups to keep inbreeding is  more likely to produce defective offsring.

My theory is,  historically, inbreeding is the reason for the falling of nations. Countries that have attained power have gotten superiority complexes over other nations, and stopped breeding with other peoples.

They turn to inbreeding, especially the royals (eg. Great-Britain, Egypt, Greece).

Other nations grow more skillful, more intelligent, drawing upon the nation's knowledge.

Fortunately for the U.S.'s sake, this is it's foundation. Though, some groups who've been here have chosen inbred, but we still have lots of people and foreigners here.

Wonder how long America will last before 'lady civilization' moves again. She's only been here for a minute, she should take her coat off and relax. B^)

  10. I don't think so. There are good looking people from varied backgrounds and all kinds of genetic defects in any human beings. You can be a good looking person who has hardly any health problem and have kids by another goodlooking person with virtually no health problems from a different ethnic background and that kid could come out healthy or with problems. Same goes with same race kids.

  11. Most genetic differences are merely cosmetic and as such are purely a matter of opinion.
