Actually morphine will lower your blood pressure but don't do blood pressure pills and morphine there could maybe be a problem.  The only problem comes from if you get addicted to it because if you do then you will be stuck taking it on a regular basis because if you try and get off it without medical help it will raise your blood pressure to new extremes because it's horrible withdrawl symptoms.  That you could die from.

  4. "Sure, why not"? Are you serious? If you have a rx for morphine and bp meds, make sure they came from the same doctor and that he/she knows or remembers that you are taking both meds. Some bp meds are very strong and can cause drowsiness. Mixing with strong narcotic without talking to physician first could prove to be a really bad mix.

    I've had high bp for 14 years and have taken many meds for that and for bad back. I always double check before mixing medications.
