Do morticians leave a mark or seal?

there was a local murder in my area, and she had a mark behind her ear..her husband was a mortician...do they use a tool that would leave a personalized mark or seal? Or does anyone know what insturment would leave a L mark?

  1. They do not leave a mark.


  2. They dont leave marks on purpose, as far as I know. It's possible that it was a scalpel mark that was accidental. Not exactly sure what you mean by your question sorry
