Cabal is a bit rude but he is right. It is just humour. French people like making fun of other countries and "Taxi" makes fun of the French who make fun of other countries. But there are also people who make fun of taxi! In that case, there are even people making fun of people who make fun of people who make fun of other countries. It is a bit complicated but, if you are German or if you have German origins, do not worry! French people like the Germans.
