  1. Yes, if you go to your local county courthouse, you can go to the public records computer.  At my county courthouse there is a person who operates it for you.  You give the person the full and correct name of the person you're investigating, and they'll give you a full printout of any or all of the legal problems this person has had, complete with the results of what happened in court.
