Do most motorcycles in good shape sell for over bluebook value?

I see alot of bikes "same size and model" that are 10 years apart and selling for only a thousand dollar difference.

  1. Not Most, just some. Check the going prices for late 60's and Early 70's Honda 750s and Early 70's Kawasaki Z900s.

  3. You are probably looking at American bikes.  American bikes keep their value a lot better than Japanese bikes do.

    For once, Magz is right.  Bluebook value is a little optimistic.  If you can, try to find the True Market Value.

  4. bluebook is "generally" a bit higher than the actual selling price...
