I was discussing this with a few mates yesterday. I believe that the Iraqi and Afghanistani people are feeling that it is becoming a forgotten war and so they want the British and United States forces to stay in their country not only to support them but also to keep attention on their struggles.

mi boyfriend is in the navy and it is half and half if ya know what i mean...some of them are glad that we are over there because we are trying to get them in order and help them .. but then agin there are the people that thought it was better befor we came over there and so basicaly there are some that are thankful and then agin there are some that are like well this is our country i want to live like h**l and i dont care and no one is going to tell us how to run our country .... so yeah.....good luck on finding the answer that you wanted

i think the majority do want the us and uk soldiers in iraq because they want peace for their country

the minority is whats causing all the bomb attacks etc

Being that I am not an Iraqi I cannot give a totally informed decision. But from a logical perspective I imagine that they hate the soldiers being there.

Say that you are living in say New York City, in an obviously first world Nation. One day it all changes, because the Chinese army, which is very well educated and supplied, decides that America has an evil president and that he as well as his government is committing very non humanitarian acts. So they invade New York and start Bombing every other city in America and then Japan and Russia start doing it to, and all of china hates americans(more than they already do) and are ignorantly racist (is there any other kind) towards them. Oh yeah, and your mother, father and 6 year olf Brother died in their own living room, because Chinese soldiers felt that they were a group of evil doers.

So all I'm saying is look at it from a different perspective, eh?

well  no  every man has  the  freedom  to  speak  and  to express himself so  does  the  nation as  well  there  should  be  no  uk and  us  forces in  iraq.its  iraqi's  land  let  them  live  freely .

i think most would be indifferent to foreign troops being in there country but like all occupied countries ther will always be resistance, especially when they are only there for they're own profit.
