Do most people with carpal tunnel typically have it in both hands at the same time or just one hand?

  1. It depend on your job.Like if you a type then you have a good chance to have the problem in both hands to some degree if you just use your writing arm for your work then thats the hand that is going to give you the trouble.


  2. primarily dominant hand, but if one is ambidextrous, uses a computer allot or does  allot of small assembly it can be both at about the same degree  

  3. I think I have it. I have tingly feelings in my left hand only... I'm not positive it's cts though.

  4. Depends on what your getting it from. Typists get it both hands at once regularly. Others get it one at a time. It all depends on what your doing. Don't worry if you only have pain in one hand, it just means your using one more than the other.

  5. I have it in both hands, however, my right is so much worse (I'm right handed).

  6. I had it in one hand, got it treated, and never got it again. Most people i know that have had it only have had it in one hand.
