Do most pick their favorite colors for wedding colors?

Do you automatically pick your favorite colors for you wedding colors? I'm just wondering if most people do.

I mean I FLOVE blue....ocean blue is my favorite but I have never wanted a blue wedding. (imo it doesn't look wedding like outside of a beach wedding)

I can't imagine my girls in blue in a church wedding or garden wedding. (I don't know why)

I'm having outdoors wedding but still not on the beach

I'm sure most people pick their favorite colors. But you don't have to. Like you said blue for an outdoor wedding sounds nicer than say a red! I think go with what you want, you can't go wrong if you follow your head! Best of luck!

I think some do, but I don't think most.

My fave colours are primary, jewel tones, but I was getting married in July, so wanted something lighter.

Didn't pick the colours til we went shopping for bridesmaid dresses - and the women fell in love with a printed dress - little sprigs of flowers on a white embossed fabric, tealength, summerish dress.

So our colours were lilac, pink, yellow, and light teal. It was FUN and pretty to use all those colours!

a lot of people dont pick their favorite colors...i love blue and green but i had a black and white wedding because it looks so elegant. go with your gut. you can look at your wedding venue and pick colors to compliment it or look through bridal magazines to get inspired.

you can decide a number of different ways. I choose hot pink and black and my husband liked it too. IMO if you like blue use it as an accent. My best friend got married in the fall, her wedding party (girls) wore chocolate with a really nice blue sash- boys had a blue tie set. It was lovely!
