Do most professional golfers use a tee on Par 3's?

I think Tiger does, or at least I thought I saw him do so at the US Open, but I was wondering if the majority of them do. Anyone know if Rocco Mediate does?

Any time that you can get a perfect lie take it and using a tee on par 3's gives you that chance so take full advantage of it. TEE IT UP !!

I am unsure of the golfer who said it, but a famous really good golfer said that you have 18 chances to cheat in a round of golf legally, use the tee!

On a Par 3 where they use an iron, most pro golfers do NOT use a tee.  Look at the tee box, see all them divots?  That's from the ball being placed on the ground, not a tee.  

Most golf instructors will tell you not to use the tee on par 3 as well. The reasoning is that you practice your iron swing as if the ball is on the ground.  When you tee it up, it changes the type of swing you need to make to hit the ball.  What good is practicing if you are just going to mess your swing up by putting the ball on a tee?

depend on the distance to the hole, if it's a iron shot, most pros use a short tee to tee it up just a little above the ground. Wood shots is more optional, it depends on their personal swing, whether they hit down on it or hit upwards on their fairway woods.

If you're smart, you'll use a tee every time you get the chance.  That was something Arnold Palmer advised golfers to do.

Yes, almost all of them do. The tee is pushed down so that it is almost at ground level but allows the club to pick the ball clean and still hit the sweet spot.

Most professional golfers use a tee on par 3 holes. This gives them a chance to place the ball at the height they prefer depending on the variables presented by the hole. This takes into account the ball flight, the pin position, whether there are hazards close to the pin( sucker pins ), wind direction and the softness of the green.

Yes. They all do. The only one who doesn't every time is Hale irwin, when he tees off on a long par 3 with a fairway wood, he doesn't want to hit too high. But even Hale uses a tee 85% of the time or more. It is a strategy choice, but the only variable you can affect on every hole.
