Do most psychopaths have horrible credit records?

From what I can tell, most of the loony tunes that I know in my life have horrible credit records. Most of them like to use their credit cards like crazy and not pay people back. They are usually very familiar to collections agencies, repo men, asset seizure guys, policemen and courts. I've really started to notice a trend. I can see why companies look at credit histories before hiring someone. It says a whole lot about the mental state of a person.

What kind of person wants to always have collections agencies and repo people harassing them? I know there are people out there that are barely making it, but the people I'm talking about are usually spending beyond their means and aren't dirt poor.

  1. There are plenty of CEO-paths with brilliant credit records, and no one harasses them, just their employees.

  2. haha thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard

  3. Nobody in their right mind would want collection agencies harrassing them, but sometimes people just have a lot of personal problems like depression or they are working two or three jobs just to make it themselves and feed their children and pay their medical and dental bills also.  You can't say that someone with bad credit is automatically a psycho/loony case or demented.  It just means that they have had problems and need some help getting their life back on track.  On the other hand, I have known some people that were suspected sociopaths and borderline types that had bad credit records.  I'm not talking about a few hundred dollars here.  I'm talking about owing people thousands of dollars and not really caring.  So, to your question I agree partly with what you asked and partly, no.
