they graduate if they turn 18 before they graduate? I know most people move out when they are 18 in general, but what's the situation if they are still in High School?

  1. Most kids live at home even after high school.

  2. typically people who turn 18 in there senior year of highschool stay at home till they go to college i was in a special circumstance and didnt live at hom i graduated in october but walked with my class in may from august to october of my senior year i lived with my neighbors (i was 17) then i moved back with my mom then when i turned 18 i moved in with my granparents i walked the stage in may and my mom moved out here by me in april and i currently live with her

  3. I turned 18 a few months before graduation, and stayed with my parents until the fall. I wasn't going to college right after high school, but I'd told them that I wanted to save up so that once I moved out, the odds were better that I wouldn't have to move back in.

I never did move back in, but I'm glad that I didn't have to balance my massive course load with work AND trying to keep a place neat, food in my stomach, so on.

Unless the situation at home is volatile, I wouldn't move out. Why risk s******g up your last year of school for no reason? The real world and it's troubles come soon enough, and they don't go away. Enjoy the last bit of comfort in the nest before you're on your own.

  4. depends on how motivated they are to get out on there own. and if parents let them mooch off them. i just turn 18 and ive had my own place for about 6 months now. it can happen. i just had motivation to support my self and i matured fast.

  5. I have never known an 18 year old that could afford their own apartment.

  6. if there still in highschool they usually live at home unless they get kicked out

Im going to turn 18 two weeks into my senior year but ill be still living at home :)

  7. I turned 18 last May of '07 and moved out in July of '07. So yeah, I waited until I graduated first. Graduation and moving out weren't two things I wanted to have to deal with at once.

And it's easy to get the money, whoever said it's a hard thing. All you have to do is be willing to work for the money. However, my boyfriend and I live together and split the costs and rent.

  8. i'll be 18 2 months into my senior year. i plan on living at home.

  9. Live there until they go off to college
