  1. I do but it depends on what kind of vegetarian you decide to be...

  2. ovo- vegetarians do. I would suggest only eating free range eggs though.

    PS im a vegan;)

  3. Some vegetarians eat eggs and use milk products, butter etc.  Vegans, however, eat no animal products.

  4. Yes, they do, because no animal dies so it's okay in their book.

  5. Ovo-vegetarians eat eggs, but vegans don't.  I am vegan and I don't like the way the chicken and egg industry runs and that is why I gave up eggs.

Also, some people justify their eating of eggs by purchasing "range free" eggs.  There are no laws that say what a company has to do if they want to call the chickens range free.

Then after 2 or 3 years when the chickens aren't producing enough eggs anymore they are taken to slaughter www.meat.org.

There are no cruelty free eggs.  If you are a vegetarian for moral reasons, it is hard to say a cow doesn't deserve to suffer but a chicken does.

I was a pescatarian for a year and I don't know how I justified the cruel killing of fish when I wouldn't consume any other animal products.  Well I have seen the light and I won't eat fish anymore.

  6. some do and some dont it matters what kind of vegetarian that you are ther are really many different variations. but i am a vegetarian and i eat meat.

  7. You should be a vegetarian and eat eggs or not base on your beliefs, not base on if the majority of people eat eggs or not, because the majority can be wrong.

    I don't eat eggs

my reason is an egg have a potential for a living thing.

If you eat eggs, you cause someone else to kill it so you are partly responsible for killing it.

Killing an egg, stopping it from potentially hatch is like an abortion, and I am personally against abortion.

I also don't eat fish or shrimps, even if people say they don't have blood, they are also living things.

But I do drink milk and eat cheese because they really don't hurt any animal.

  8. Some do some dont, depends on what kind of vegetarian you are

  9. it depends on your flavor.  alot do. some don't.  like i said it's up to you.

  10. depends on the type. lacto-vegetarians don't eat eggs but drink milk keeping them from being a true vegan

  11. That depends (in part, anyway) on where you are.  In the US, the majority of people who identify as vegetarian are lacto-ovo-vegetarian, meaning they eat both dairy and eggs.  In India, however, most people who identify as vegetarian are lacto-vegetarian, meaning they eat dairy but NOT eggs.  Worldwide, I really don't know.
