Leigh the answer to your question is No, from doing lots of research on this in the last few months, most experts say you are just wasting your money.  If this  worked I would be the first in line to purchase.  Try cutting back tree limbs hitting ground so they don't have place to hide.  This is where I saw my last one.  Cut bushes back, I removed three.  Don't let grass grow high.  I have lots of woods and fish pond.
