Do moth hide behind stuff?

i think i have a moth hiding behind my mirror but when i turn on the light it doesn't move...

Moths are attracted to light so if you leave your light on, the moth will eventually fly towards it.

To answer your question: Yes, moths do hide behind things. They don't want to be killed so just like any other animal, they will do their best to hide/camouflage themselves.
