  1. walmart 97 cents can be cut and molded mine got about a half inch cut off the back it still works fine and allows better air flow...

  2. You can mould them to the shape of your teeth.  They cost about 10 dollars don't go for the really cheap ones or the gimmicky coloured ones because they come apart in your mouth.

  3. yes they do but if you are molding be sure to use scissors to cut excess off (anything going past your gums). you dont want to leave any sharp edges. boil the mouthguard for a few minutes until it is soft. then put it in your mouth while it is still warm. bite into the mouthguard (not too hard, just holding your teeth together should be right). hold it for about 30 seconds before you remove it. you will be able to see where your last teeth are when it comes out. cut off pretty much anything past here. now just put it back in and make sure it feels comfortable. if it doesnt just trim more or cut of sharp edges etc.

the mouthguards should also be available in different sizes as well. try using the guides on the back for selecting the closest fit, so that you can spend less time tailoring it to suit you perfectly.

  4. Custom guards are great if you can afford them, sometimes your dentist will work it so your insurance covers a portion if you have an odd shaped jaw.  Otherwise the higher end boil and bites work great.  Never had a problem and have been using the B&B since high school football for Thai Boxing and Sub Grappling

  5. just get one u put in boiling water and then put on ur teeth to mold in they re not excepensive like 5 dollars and they work good i played football and they perfect no damage and way more comfey

  6. A boil-and-bite should work, but if you're really worried about it, I would suggest going to a dentist and getting a custom mouthguard made.  They are expensive, but protect your mouth a lot better than boil-and-bites.  Not only that, but they stay in your mouth better and feel better than boil-and-bites.
