  1. Mostly they spin counterclockwise but reports of storms rotating clockwise have been observed.  If you want more information,  please let me know.


  2. Low pressure systems rotate counterclockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the souther hemisphere. So to answer your question tornadoes rotate counterclockwise in the norther hemisphere as do all low pressure systems in the northern hemisphere (tornadoes, hurricanes, nor'easters, dust storms, and water going down the drain)
