It is a Whisper filter in a 10 gallon tank. They look like they are spending too much energy swimming compared to when the filter is off.

  1. What kind of filter? I mean is it meant for a 10 gallon tank? If the filter is made for a 10 gal they're probably fine since guppies need airation to survive.

  2. Your Guppies have too high of a water flow and you can turn down the flow power by the little k**b on top and it will slow it down but dont turn off ur filter

  3. well you dont say which whisper filter it is  but it is possiable that the filter is createing to much flow causeing the fish to have to fight the current more I don't recomend turning the filter off all the way there are ways to control the flow

you can block part of the inlet tube to restrict flow or you can block the filter at the pads to restrict flow

  4. I wouldn't turn the filter off. They are small fish that naturally have a ton of energy. Activity is definitely not a problem.
