Do my grades from classes taken at a community college go into my GPA when I apply for UC?

I don't have a 4.0 right now so I took Precalculus and Trignometry over the summer at a community college and I got A's in both. So I was wondering when I apply to college, will those 2 grades be factored into the GPA I turn into college?

  1. If you are simply transferring credits to a 4 year school then no, the credits will count but it won't go toward the GPA at that school. They want your GPA to represent how you've done at THAT school, not at others.
