  1. If you are a wage earner and get a W-2, the employer is supposed to pay half of the social security and you pay the other half. It is the same with Medicare tax. I used to work for the IRS.


  2. Go to MySSS of the Philippine Social Security System website and create your account to get your employee static information and SSS contributions. You can check there if your last employer paid your SSS contributions
