Do my parakeets need to listen to music at night?

Also do my parakeets need to be covered with a blanket at night. I don't have really any drafts in my room.

they need to be covered but dont play them music because if they get sick of it they cant turn it off

no they don't have to listen to music but it will help them sleep much better if they have a cover over them

i have two cockatiels, and i cover them at night mainly because we dont get up as early as they do, its mostly just in order to control their day/night. and as for music, they dont need it, infact it will probably keep them awake. when you think about it at night, is there alot of noise? no.  but if you feel the need to i suggest something light and quiet.

You can cover it with a cloth and not a blanket. This would make them feel safe. :]

And turning on the music won't help as they may not like it and if they do, you shouldn't as you are pampering them. Pampering them isn't amy help as they would ask for a lot in future and it would be harder for you to let them listen to you.

You need to cover their cage at night but you don't need to play them music.  A blanket lets them know that it's time to go to sleep.  It doesn't matter if there are drafts or not.  Hope I helped!

i dont know about music but yes covering them up helps them sleep and prevents night frights.

with my birds they did not sleep unless i covered there cage with a towel at night .. i had a parrot and they liked it quite or they make noise too

they dont nessesarily need to listen to music at night. but they do need to be covered with a blanket at night especially if they are in a cage outside your house
