Yes they do. The UK never signed up to the Schengen agreement which most other EU countries did, so whilst citizens of those EU countries can travel freely throughout the rest of the EU, those of us from the UK must have passports to travel abroad the same as they would need passports to come here.

Every UK citizen needs their own passport to go abroad. So, if they are British Citizens, then yes.
