Do my vegetable plants need sun all day?

i had to move my potted veg and fruit plants to a place in the yard that has sun only 5 hours a day (morning). will that be enough? tomatoes, peppers, watermelon.

  1. If you have bell peppers they will do ok with five hours of morning sun.  Your tomatoes will grow and produce but  would do much better with full sun. The watermelon demand full all day sun!


  2. Yes 5-6 hours is satisfactory for sunlight for your vegetables

  3. Five hours a day should be fine for the plants.

  4. 6hours of sun is mandatory and i reccemend you get 2things.......gardening for dummies but no offence too you....and get a uv light for your peppers.

  6. All my tomatoes and peppers do perfectly fine with 5 hours of sun.
