I know a lot of fish do, just curious if snails do so I know if I should separate the parents and the young.

  1. Mystery snails will not eat their young unless the babies are dead. The babies may annoy the adults by crawling all over them however. Generally, unless you have snail-eating fish, you don't need to worry about the babies, at least for this species.

  2. Well we have snails, and the mystery snails don't normally eat their babies, but it's possible another breed will. Our apple snail eat the baby mystery snails all the time (we have ram's horn and ponds snails too though, so it actually helps.)

  3. No, If you don't want anymore snails, sperate the parents. They breed like crazy.
