Do network administrators have security clearance?

I'm also wondering how many do require it and what the hiring process is like? I mean, do they do backround checks?

Most employers do background checks. 80% from what I read. This is for any job. I have Federal Security Clearances for my job.

Depends on the company.  If they are involved in national security issues then yeah ofc you will need clearance, but to handle the networks of say McDs then no.

Most companies will probably do a background check of some sort...again depending on the company will dictate how indepth that check will be
