  1. After they get fixed they will not spray anymore. That is just when they are in heat.

  2. Even if a cat is neutered, there is a very slim chance it might still spray. The sooner they are fixed the better and if they are fixed at the proper age it will eliminate spraying.

  3. mine did ,but talk to ur vet, i think they can take care of that  .why not get a female cat and be sure?

  4. The two male cats that were neutered very young (that I have met) do not spray.  One wiggles his behind, as if he really wanted to spray.  But he does not in fact spray.

Please check with the vet,  You might get the cat fixed as soon as possible.  It is great that you are going to fix the cat, something that too many people neglect to do.  Thank you!

  5. Um...a 2-3 month cat is WAY to young to be fixed. He has to be at least 6 months-and that he's in a clean bill of health. Consult your vet because that is to young. Also a cat that age is to young to spray..their not interested in spraying they are BABY BABIES then! Please make sure you are totally educated on having a cat before you get him/her. A lot of people think they are easy pets to have however  although they are "easy" they require a lot of love, care, attention, and affection. They usually start to spray 6 months and after, sometimes they never do unless you have more them 1 pet and are planning on moving soon! They get upset out of their norm and will start to mark their territory. Good Luck and 6 months!!!

  6. Usually it stops them from spraying but its not a guarantee that he will not still spray.
