Do new garage doors look?

like they are dented because they contract and expand? I have never heard of this.

  1. I kinda don't understand.  New garage doors lock.  Both by the action of the closer and they usually have a hasp or other locking mechanism.  Garage door  are flexible enough in their tracks that the minor movements due to heating and cooling will not be noticeable.


  2. Look? Lock? either way, NEW garage doors should run and look as smooth as silk no matter what the temperature differences if yours doesn't go back to whomever installed or supplied them while you still have warranty to sort it out. If it is locking in position it was installed incorrectly Being garage doors they are designed to withstand massive temperature variances so don't take any lame excuses if a supplier tells you it is the weather, get what you paid for, a fully functional, good looking new garage door.  .. good luck with it anyway!
