Question:

Do nice guys really finish last? Part 2

I asked this question earlier today and one of the examples that I used was the bad boy getting the girl. This is not exactly where I am trying to focus your attention. What I am trying to find out is what is it that makes those who are so willing to s***w over other people so attractive. And I don’t just mean romantically. People generally seem to be drawn to those who don’t care or those who care more about themselves than anyone else (think of the stereotypical cool kids in high school). Think about the bosses who got where they are by stepping on everyone and once they reach their desired position the begin to stomp. I’ve been both the nice guy and the “A” hole and life was easier as living as the “A”. Why?

  1. I have also been a b*tch and a very sweet girl but, to me the reason being a b*tch was easier was because I wasn't letting anyone get to me. I was afraid of being nice because I was afraid of getting hurt. Being nice makes you vulnerable and being an ****** makes you untouchable, which in turn makes you irresistable.

  2. People are attracted to confidence. Nice guys take some c**p from people just to help people get along. The jerks just do what ever they feel like doing. There is no rule book for everyone to follow, we have  to figure it out as we go. If you want to see what confidence can do, walk into a place, smiling like you know a secret no one else knows. People will come out of the woodwork to speak to you.
