  1. they do run out, but l thunk the period they are valid for is 2 years

  2. Yes I'm pretty sure they do it happened to me and i had to start from scratch, but that was a few years ago now so try and get in touch with your previous provider

  3. With most companies, if you've not been insured as the main driver for over two years you have to start from scratch again.

  4. my partner was able to protect his four years no claims bonuses and i don't think they run out, as this helps you to get cheaper car insurance.

The only way they go is if you change insurance companys and can't prove your amount of no claim bonuses or of course you have an acciadent and need to claim.

Ask your insurance company as when you accumlate between about 4 to 6 years depending on what your insurance offers you should be able to protect them so if you have an accident you don't lose them.

Any way ring your insurance company to be compleatly clear on how it works.

  5. they usually accept bonus which is up to  2 yrs old. so yeah it would have expired, although there are some companies which will accept it up to 3yrs - but you will have to do some ringing around who will accept it and who wont

  6. They do, but different insurers have different rules regarding them.
