Do non african-americans drink kool-aid?

The reason I ask is because I noticed their advertisement targets black people. I also noticed that none of my white freinds/roomates in the past have ever drank it. I'm just wondering if their is any non-black person that drinks it? I love kool-aid its tasty!

  2. Yes we latinos do too(mexican american).Don't really drink it anymore but loved it as a kid...ah memories...

  3. Yep, there is. I've a whole house full of Native Americans that do.

  4. I'm a white girl who grew up drinking it!

  5. 563 million gallons of Kool-aid are consumed each year.  There are about 39 million African Americans.  If every single African American (including babies) doesn't consume an overage of 14.5 gallons of Kool-aid per year or 5 ounces per day every day then someone else must be drinking it.  Besides I drink it myself and I'm white as a ghost.

  6. LOL funny question, i like it but i like mines really sweet. and in the cannister with sugar already added. How about you?

  15. OHHHHH YEAHHHHH!

  16. yes i do drink kool-aid

  17. Yeah. Don't believe the stereotypes!

You see a lot of Black commercials for it if you are watching programing that Black people are assumed to be most likely watching (like "House of Pain" or something). They make commercials to target that audience.

On FoxNews or something, there are White commercials. It depends on the channel and program you are watching.

Kool-Aid is DELICIOUS and cheap. Since gas prices continue to rise, I suspect I'll be drinking a lot more of it.. lol.

  18. you've gotta be pulling our leg, right?  CHILDREN drink kool-aid... all shades of kids... black, white, purple, green, even kids with chicken pox!

TALL kids, (adults, all colors) should have progressed to Crystal Light and those little tubes of powder you put in your bottled water. :)

  19. I SOOO LUV KOOL-AID!!!

  20. I love kool-aid! Most of the commercials I've seen for kool-aid have been promoted with white kids.

  21. i like kool aid and fryed chicken and im white could that really mean my momma cheated on my dad

  22. I was a deprived child...my mom never took me to mcdonalds.  I had to discover it on my own at age 16, so you can imagine...we never had koolaid in my house.  I am white.

We never had pop in the house, either, and all the food we ate  was home-made.

My cousins are all white, and they drank koolaid all day, every day.

I've never heard about this thing about black people being big koolaid drinkers.  Some other guy is asking the same question tonight on y/a.

  23. Of course we drink it and unfortunately II think the blacks might get targeted as ones who actually drink it because the advertiser's assume since it is so bad for you that white people are more educated and no better to stay away from it. Not that I agree or even right.  That is just my take as well as the fact that assumption that blacks are poor so it's what they can afford.  Who knows but here in California, we all drink it unless we are a health nut, and with the prices in the grocery store going up, who can afford a carton of OJ anymore??
