in 21 hes 20 yrs older. I like him very much. The thing is he knows my family and is good friends with my sister and brother in law. If we were to start something could we ever really last? or is the age too big of a gap? Im willing to do whatever it takes but should i let it go or try? I love talking to him and so does he. we love each others company. He is a great man. HELP.

  1. too old. when you're 30 will you really want a 50 y.o. dad for your little kids? no.

  2. I was involved with a guy 12 years older than me and it didn't work out

at all.  I'm not saying that it wouldn't work out with you but at some

time or other, some older guys would start acting like your father.  And

I'm sure that since you're 21 that you're probably wanting to start a

family but with older men, a lot of them feel that they already had

their families and wouldn't want any more children.  So the best advice

that I can give you is keep the older guy as a friend and look for some-

one closer to your own age.

  3. well....people say love doesn't have a number or age but to be realistic and think about it : right now it might be great and everything but in 20 years he will be very older than you and he wont have the same energy as you. Right now he might be ready for many things your not ready for and in 20 years you will be ready but he will be to old for what ever it is..

    Good Luck

  4. Give it a try.  It could work.  Even though you are young it may be fun and exciting to date him.
