Do olympians have regular jobs?

Do they have regular jobs! Like how do they get paid! Like do they get paid from competions!

They have sponsors and the olympic committee of that country pays them... also some of the less known athletes will probably have jobs on the side...

Sounds like that guy missed his chance at a medal!! In other countries the olympic athletes are paid by the government to work towards the olympics. i'm not sure about out here but if you are successful, the endorsement money is pretty good. But most athletes out here are in college so they have ample time to train and they are usually on their schools team anyway.

They don't have jobs, and are usually school dropouts, who have so social life.  They train all day for one shot of glory because they're nobodies.

I saw an athlete the other day who had to leave the olympics early for law school, so they do have jobs.

Depends on what kind sport you're in

But sports that people not interested

I know that some of the tennis players were professional. The USA basketball team is professional. Spain has the Spanish Basketball Federation; I think there were players from that on Olympic team, I assume that they get paid.

I imagine that there were some olympians that didn't have regular jobs and some had   9-5 jobs, as well as some that got paid in everyday competitions
