For example: Lets say i've eaten 1/2 cup of beans which is 9 grams of incomplete protein on one slice of toast, which is 5 grams of protein. Two of these make a complete protein so how much protein have i consume? do i add them together to have 14 grams of protein or like only count the complete proteins. (5 grams of complete protein) i'm really confused. how do you count your protein when eating a vegeterian diet?

  1. When you count protein on a vegetarian diet, you see how many grams of protein you are having. I don't really understand what you are trying to ask, sorry. But you just add all the protein you've eaten all together, you don't have to be exact.

  2. You don't count your protein.

You eat as much healthy food as your appetite tells you to.

You eat plenty of whole grains and legumes and you don't have to eat them at the same time. You can eat them throughout the day and you have at least three days to eat the right food to complete the protein that's already in your system.
