Do online pros use poker software?

just curious, do online pros use poker software or do they do the calculations in their head.

it may seem daunting at first, but after a while, some situations become so common the calculation becomes automatic.

usually, the only time a pro needs extra time is not because of the odds, but because they are going through their mental notes about the player who bet.

A lot of the bigger players online use software like pokertracker to keep track of their opponents, but this is probably more so they can multi-table and make decisions based on the other players' score in the software.  If they are just playing 1 game, I would suspect they are making decisions in their head.

the pros that learned their game online and primarily play online use it.  Which is the main reason I dont play online because I dont know how to use those darn programs so i just play in B&M Casinos

I doubt any online pro uses software to calculate odds.  They would probably see that as an admission that they are not good players.

They may use software to track opponents, but the calculators are just for newbies.
