  1. 3-4 years tops.

    no, don't do it!!!!!!

  2. More than likely the frozen veggies will "expire" six months to a year.  After 7 years the big problem is freezer burn.  This happens when the water sublimates away from the veggies and refreezes outside the veggies.

Keep in mind that all foods will rot in a freezer that isn't cold enough. Freezing only delays the rotting not prevent it.

Open the bag, let the veggies melt.  If it doesn't pass the smell test, it is inedible.  When in  doubt, throw it out.  Your health is worth more than the $5 bag of veggies.

  3. yes it does grow bad becuase of a certaint gas is releast from the food and the bag traps the gas and actually speeds up rotting

  4. .Should be ok,if the packet has been frozen for that duration.

  5. The maximum theoretical lifespan of frozen vegetables is 'indefinite' - meaning as long as they stay frozen.  In practice, they're usually badly degraded by a year or two - but more due to thaw/freeze cycles from opening the freezer door, than an inherent limitation of the technology.

    If in doubt, toss them.
