  1. Doesn't exist in France, for example (perhaps that's why French use to surrender to the occupant or political trend of the moment), and I never heard of another country than U.S. doing it.

  2. Ummm.... I think its an American thing ONLY !!!! Do you watc the news?? Most countries dont like the United States....

  3. students in Saudi schools are required to sing the national anthem while standing outside during morning assembly..

the flag is not present, an actual pledge to the flag is not made, and the anthem consists only of praise for king and country..

  4. Not sure if any recite a pledge.  They all have national anthems, etc.

Why do you care about other countries?

Laurie...Are you so naive that you actually thought the question was whether or not other countries pledge allegiance to OUR FLAG????  WOW!!!!  Guaranteed by your response, you are a liberal...and I have not stopped laughing.

  5. Other countries. I was in Honduras and they did.

  7. only america does, thye only have the anthems in other countries. "pledge of Allegiance" is totally a lie, none obey it, there are more and more crimes going on in this nation

  8. Just some stupid red-neck american thing,

  9. i dont think they do. its because they dont kno how to speek engish to their flage. but in france they come over to america and say it in thier language. in france they can speack onglish to so they have some sort of an acent.

  10. hello.........i pledge of allegiance to the flag of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA................ says it all

  12. yes it is not only a 'redneck thing' to do.

  13. as far as I know it is an American obsession with patriotism because of some feeling of paranoia because of all that bulying of others,  within the national psyche of America.

And if called to sacrifice oneself for Saudi oil barons  then the government of Ameria just waves the flag around and in they go.

I mean what does the America flag stand for if there is so much poverty and murder in America?

  14. The Flag represents the Country and so it is allegiance to Ones country, it is more or less a universal Practice and a good one.

  15. NO showing patriotism and support for ones country isn't just an "American thing"

  16. Lots of countries have pledges of allegiance to their flags, mostly used in schools. Argentina, for instance, has a pledge to the country and the revolution. Arab countries (excluding Saudi Arabia for religious reasons) have them too. You see and hear kids assembled in the schoolyard pledging away, first thing in the morning.

  17. england doesn't do that...maybe its just coz we aren't very patriotic...POLITICS SUCK IN OUR COUNTRY!!....gordon brown is a loser ^-^
