Ok, I just found a GIGANTIC spider in my house. It was like tan colored with darker brown stripes. Do any of you know if it's poisonous? D:

Ugh, have any of you found spiders in your house?

Awhile ago my sister and i found this nasty black spider it was like thick. You know how tarantula's legs are kind of fat? It was like that only black and only about an inch long.

This motherf***er i found tonight was probably 2.5-3 inches long.

Oh my god. Someone talk me off this ledge, I'm freaking out.

  2. You need to get rid of all their webs. Some you can float a light piece of fabric over and smash. You will need some spider spray. Go on attack!

  3. Depends where you live. I found a 5 inch spider in my garage when I was younger. I screamed of course.

I wouldn't know if it's poisonous or not. Goodluck?

  4. i do and them motherf-----er be freaking me out to I but towels under my doorways sothat they won't come in and i sleep with the light on by the way the what state do you live in

  5.   Yes, my mother does all of the time, Mostly in the garage, there has been tarantulas and all other sorts of big spiders. She has to call pest control every couple of months.

  6. I feel your pain, I really do, I live alone now, so am souly responsible for getting them out too, I have one of those plug in things that sends waves round the electrical system, but it doesn't work, they still come in the house, I have all sorts of catching devices, the latest one came with a fake spider to practice with, and even the fake one freak's me out. UGLY things spiders, they move far to fast. Bluuuh x

  7. Wait untill you find a six inch plus Huntsman Spider.

About identifying your spiders, knowing where you live would help.  I will say though that it does NOT sound like anything "poisonous" or dangerous.

To make a guess, first spider sounds like a species of huntsman, Heteropoda venatoria.  They can be found in homes in subtropical climates (like Florida) and are generally welcome because they love to eat roaches.

Second sounds like a kind of Mygalomorph, like a trap door spider.

  8. Whoa, dude...The tan colored with dark brown stripes IS poisonous! I've heard about them before, but I can't remember the name. It's not poisonous enough to bite and kill you however; if it bites you, it'll give a giant infection on the skin which can be cured but it's painful as h**l.

Yeah one time I got a BLACK WIDOW! Do you know what those are? They're poisonous and CAN kill an adult within an hour if bitten! I found it in the basement. Holy c**p, I almost freaked out until I killed it.

I know how you feel! Try plugging any loose holes or cracks in the wall with fresh paint or super glue or whatever you've got to cover up the cracks; I think that's how spiders get in, through VERY tiny cracks in the walls.

  9. if you live in texas this is common, if you live in the midwest you are dirty and need the Nanny to come clean your filth
