  1. My mother and my brother used one and received nothing but ridiculous answers. I get none when My lover and I try it. It works only if you push it to form an answer.

  2. read the book the hallowing

    and i mean it really!

    it talks all about this

  3. Sure they "work", but they're not powered by spirits or anything.

  4. Depends on your definition of "work."  If that definition includes telling you anything that you didn't already know, then no, they don't work.

  5. The only danger that will come from playing with a Ouija Board is if you throw the plastic piece at someone, beat them with the board, or get a paper cut from the cardboard. They are as life-threatening as a box of Captain Crunch.

The company also sells Monopoly, you really think they would be able to sell this product without getting sued if it really had the ability to harm people? They are being sold because there is no harm.

The Ouija Board is associated with evil due to the fact that it was a tool used in divination. The Bible clearly states that to perform divination, is wrong:

"When you come into the land which the LORD, your God, is giving you, you shall not learn to imitate the abominations of the peoples there. Let there not be found among you anyone who immolates his son or daughter in the fire, nor a fortune-teller, soothsayer, charmer, diviner, or caster of spells, nor one who consults ghosts and spirits or seeks oracles from the dead. Anyone who does such things is an abomination to the LORD, and because of such abominations the LORD, your God, is driving these nations out of your way." -- Deuteronomy 18:9 - 18:13

Overall, there is no danger in the Ouija Board, unless you are a Christian. The Ouija Board is fueled by the Ideomotor Effect, nothing supernatural in any form whatsoever.

ADD: According to the Bible, you should not play with a Ouija Board in any way. Although, it depends if you are okay with sinning and such.

  6. they are evil. i try to stomp on them and throw them away when i get a chance.

  7. There was this supernatural website I visited once where the posters in the forum had many stories about the ouija. They ALL strongly opposed against using the ouija. They said that it was not a toy. By playing with an ouija board, you could be attracting malevolent beings. There were cases of demons staying with the ones who used the board. And there was also a case wherein the age of death was predicted (the ones who were using the board were kids and didn't mind it much at the time. Many years later, the prophecy came true). True or not, I'd rather not risk playing with an ouija board. There are other safer and fun activities to do out there!

  8. I used a ouija board a number of times many years ago and nothing happened.  Nothing happened when friends used the ouija board.  Nothing bad will happen to you, or anyone else, as a result of using a  ouija board.

The ouija board is just a game that you can buy in most toy stores and department stores, an ordinary piece of wood or plastic or cardboard.  It is meant for two or more players so it will not work very well if you try to use it alone.  It has no supernatural powers.  The people using the ouija board make it work through ideomotor movement.  It plays on your mind and imagination and your susceptibilities and beliefs and fears.  It can be scary because the imagination is a powerful thing, and can make you believe just about anything.  Here are a couple of links that discuss ouija boards and how to use them.

  9. I don't know if  they really work or not. But this is a true story about my ex-wife and myself. When we were in our teens unknown to each other even different schools. It was summer time I believe some time in July. My friends and I were playing with a ouja board one evening at our summer homes. The same even around the same time my ex-wife and her friends were up to the same thing. And on that evening I was told  I would meet and marry a girl named Susan and the same happened to my ex-wife and her friends she was told she would meet and marry some one with the name Dave. Within a year of the reading's we met and became girl and boy friends. Another two years we were married. If it's real or not I don't know. But it did happen. Have a good weekend.

  10. yes but do not use them they are evil

  11. my best friends mum did one, the glass started moving and spelt out death and one of the friend's names, they was all crying and they had to get a vicar in to bless the house.
