Do our laws justify the truth?

Yes and no. The constitution is aligned with the truth, but some of our laws contradict the constitution which then the laws contradict truth.  Therefore, some laws do justify the truth while others create more problems than solutions.

Not always, because frequently the laws can simply be a product of the establishment and not the people. Examples, the war in Iraq , capital punishment, death by stoning, restrictions on free speech, as well as censorship.The laws may justify the truth in the eyes of those who make them.

Not always, I know someone who was arrested for quoting song lyrics stating he would burn his house down "that in a song by seether" and they charged him with terroristic threats when th constitution says we have freedom of speech.

Amen to that, above poster. The War on some Drugs is evidence of the law having no truth to back up so called "justice." Truth is a subjective thing when it comes to morality. If you're asking questions like these, you need to go to law school and start kicking *** and taking names. Good luck, interesting question.
