Do paid members of the Sierra Club and others like it really know their agenda and what they are supporting?

Sierra club members tend to have plenty of wealth and the ability to enjoy pushing their socialist agenda on the public. They are no better than the ACLU

Let me tell you about the Sierra Club members. My best friend and his family moved to Alaska after finishing up 28 years in the Coast Guard. They bought a place in a small logging town that was in the central part of the panhandle and started making a fair living doing what the environment would support. The trees in the area are very fast growing softwood evergreens. They are good for about one thing making toilet paper. The logging companies worked together to clear cut a strip about 250 yards wide 20 miles deep. They then reseeded the strip and next year moved one quarter around the edge to start next years cut. By doing this they never cut anywhere near enough to destroy habitat for all flora and fauna.  Good life for all. Then the GD Sierra Club lobbied congress to stop this kind of logging and declared the forest around 25 small towns as wilderness areas. Everyone in the towns lost everything. My buddy could move elsewhere and start over cause he had a military pension but hundreds of people lost livelihoods, families broke up due to financial pressures, and whole towns died. Thank you for ruining peoples lives. The Sierra Club, fools involved in saving the world by destroying lives.
