Question:

Do palms (its a type of plant) die if they get too much water? or would they strive in a humid environment?

well my mom has this plant that is called a "Palm". Here is a picture of it in my terrarium, well i had to take my plants out and redo my terrarium so it hasnt gotten a chance to live in the humid environment yet. So i was wondering if it will live well in my terrarium?

  1. As long as the substrate is well-draining, it should be fine.  Most plants don't like "wet feet" or roots that are constantly under water.  Rocks and sand help with drainage, so as long as you've got that your plant should be fine.  A misting every day should be more than enough water to keep it pleasantly humid in the terrarium.


  2. It would be better with high Humid,cause with to much water the roots will rott and die, and it would grow faster and healthier, I ahve the same kind put its in a big pot and its tall  about 24 inchs , 3 of them in a pot, just had to let you know.
